£3M competition launches for projects that demonstrate responsible use of health data for research and innovation

Health Data Research UK, which is co-funded by the NIHR, has announced a £3M funding competition for projects that will inform and shape the design and specification of the Digital Innovation Programme: a UK-wide infrastructure for health data research and innovation. This ambitious initiative is funded by UK Research and Innovation as part of the Government’s Industrial Strategy and will pave the way for NHS, academic researchers and industry innovators to harness scientific knowledge and emerging technologies to develop new drugs and devices and improve health services.
