Neil Coulson, the new RfPB panel chair in the East Midlands, will be giving an overview of the funding stream, illustrating changes that the new programme director Sue Ziebland wants to make, and his views on the East Midlands panel and how he would like to steer research in our region.

Did you know that AMRC members funded over £1.6 billion of medical research across the UK in 2016, the biggest proportion of public funding, compared to £1.04 billion from NIHR and £0.93 billion from the Medical Research Council? This talk will give you insights into the association and show you what criteria the funders are looking for in grant applications.
