The NIHR Clinical Research Network in partnership with Diabetes UK is hosting a one-day workshop for early career researchers in diabetes.

This exciting workshop is free to attend and is aimed at those in a training post or within 5 years of appointment to a substantive NHS (or equivalent) position (excluding career breaks, and extended pro rata for those in less than full-time work) or in post for more than 5 years but new to research. Special consideration will be given to those wishing to attend who can demonstrate they were only able to take up research opportunities later in their career.

The programme will include talks from a number of leading diabetes researchers including NIHR CRN National Specialty Lead for Diabetes, Professor Simon Heller, Professor Richard Holt and Professor Stephanie Amiel.
